Seal inspection is vital to food safety and quality. In actual production, critical defects such as contamination in seals, unsealed packages, and partially sealed packages often occur. Since food packaging is typically made of flexible plastic and incoming materials on production lines vary in orientation, traditional optical methods and conventional algorithms struggle to reliably detect these defects. This results in persistent challenges in reducing both false positives and missed detections. Each production line requires at least 1.5 manual operators, leading to low inspection efficiency and significantly constrained production capacity.
